Daemon Behr is a Senior Systems Engineer for Nutanix with over 20 years of industry experience. He is a seasoned IT Architect whom has contributed to multiple books and has written book 2 of the IT Architect Series: Designing Risk in IT Infrastructure. He has also taught courses on infrastructure design and security at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and the University of British Columbia.

Daemon is active in the IT community as a speaker and blogger and has been recognized as a VMware NSX vExpert, Nutanix Technology Champion and a Cisco Champion. Daemon has presented at the OpenStack Summit, VMworld, USENIX LISA, and at various other events across Canada and the United States.

Daemon currently holds the following key certifications: VCP6-DCV, VCP6-NV, VCAP-DCD, VCAP-DCA, NCP, NCDA.
