Johan van Amersfoort is a Technologist EUC & AI working for ITQ Consultancy, where he is responsible for the technical strategy within the End-User Computing and Artificial Intelligence areas.

In 2018, he released the VDI Design Guide, which describes the complete process of designing a VDI, based on modern standards. He is heavily involved in multiple EUC communities (vExpert, VMware EUC Champion) and one of the 20 VMware Certified Design Experts (VCDXs) globally in the Desktop and Mobility track.

He specializes in VDI, (Graphical) Acceleration with GPUs, and modern AI platforms for Deep Learning and delivery of apps.

Furthermore, you can find him talking about all of these topics at events like VMUGs, UserCons, and VMworld and VMware EUC TechCon (where he is one of the founders and part of the leadership team).
